Andreani cartridge kit and YSS shock

It took some time form ordering parts, to giving the completed work a thorough test.

I've had an Andreani Misano cartridge kit installed into the forks. The rear shock has been replaced with a YSS shock (MU-456). Installation was performed by an ex race team tech. He then set up the bike for me, according to my weight and riding preferences.

The bike had 10,000km's on it before this was done, so I had an understanding of just how cheap/bad the standard equipment was.

A day at a short technical track was a great way to evaluate the improvement. After one session I added a little more preload and compression to the front and rear, on top of where it was set. I also pushed the forks up through the clamps 7mm. Now the difference is like night and day!  :152: The bike behaves like a proper sports bike. Turn in is sharp, bump compliance at speed is superb, grip is excellent and tyre wear is perfect.
