    Yes. I was prompted to turn on key. The scanner powers up when connected. And set it for kwp protocol

    I used to borrow one from my friend that was quite simple to use. I used it on my car and it plugged right into a Triumph I owned. It was easy to use.
    Then I bought one for myself, which was a better, more advanced unit that what my friend owned. Whenever I use it I have to read the instructions. A real PITA.
    So, if the instructions aren’t cutting it maybe you have a friend that can explain it.

    Gonna see if there is another connector on the bike. Maybe I tried wrong one?
