Sport: KTRC level 1 (lowest level), full power
Road: KTRC level 2 (middle level), full power
Rain: KTRC level 3 (strongest level), 55% power
Rider: KTRC and power selectable in all combination from list above + option to turn off KTRC

Example: Rider mode: KTRC 1, full power = the same as Sport mode. Etc.
So, Rider mode gives 3 options that is not predefined by other modes:  KTRC 3 with full power, KTRC off with full power, KTRC off with 55% power.

When in Rider mode, Trip A/B and Temperature are not shown, but, long press SET button and they are shown but must be repeated whenever you start the bike.

    Thanks a lot. Finally i got this cleared !! :763: :763:

So in order to get more mileage during heavy traffic, its better to use rain mode or rider mode ( low mode ).

I dont think so. Except if you using more than 55% power in full power mode when in heavy traffic  :001:

So just to clarify, there is no difference at all in power between modes Sport and Road? Just in the amount of traction control applied? So no difference in acceleration etc? I'm not asking about Rain mode as that is clearly 45% down on power.

That seems to be the case as there’s only mention of full power and low power modes.

Switching between the Sport and Road “Rider Modes” only changes the traction control level.

So then the only difference in acceleration between them would be if the traction control in Road mode kicked in enough to limit your acceleration significantly over Sport mode; which would be unlikely in normal street use.

Here are the relevant pages from the 2023 Owners Manual.

Modes are like training wheels.... take 'em off and use some wrist control.  :028:
