New Helmet queries!!

Im planning on upgrading to the Ls2 Thunder Carbon. The thing is it comes with two models - C and C Gp(Fim rated).
The difference in cost is around 125 USD in my country. Im not a track day person but do go on long rides frequently. I also use the Sena 50S communication device.
So I wanted your opinions on which one is better to get. ( I know FIM rated is no brainer but just in case there are people out there who use these or got any knowledge on this , can help me out)
Thank You,

A nice looking helmet!
The
LS2 USA website
only shows one option and it has FIM certification. Maybe the non-FIM model you’re looking at is simply an older model from before they got the helmet FIM certified?

I have the Arrow. In fact I have 2.
Best fitting helmet I've had. Quality is really good. Lining not as plush as a Shoei but all day comfortable.
Sharp 4 star,
It's a race helmet not a touring helmet, has lots of vents so you will need earplugs.
Never laid hands on the Thunder but I would expect it to be an upgrade.

Unfortunately my retarded government passed some stupid rules which led most the well known company leaving the country and even banned their import. So these helmets are unavailable and the current best option available in my country is the ls2 thunder carbon gp ( fim ).
That is why im asking if anyone else has used this helmet and hopefully can share their opinion xD

Bureaucracy is a bitch.
Heard that. Only Indian homologation (ISI) is valid in India and without it is forbidden to sell motorcycle helmets in India.
Irony is that ISI has less criteria when testing than ECE22.05, let lone 22.06.
Dont know why big Brands dont have ISI homologation in India, it's a big Market, their Helmets would pass ISI without a problem and homologation cost is definitely not a Factor, it must be something else in question

The problem is - In order to get the ISI rating ,They need to open a testing center ( meaning factory itself ) in India in order to get it ISI/BIS rated which will allow it to be sold in the Indian Markets.
So according to Indian Government , As long even an FIM rated helmet does not have the ISI standard, it is deemed unsafe and therefore Illegal in India .
It is so retarded. That's why my options are limited. I could ask a friend to get it for me from abroad , but no coming over in the next few months.
Therefore my only best bet is the ls2 thunder carbon.

I have two LS2 helmets - a Vector for road use and an Arrow that I use on track - it has a taller visor so is better for vision round corners.
I got the Vector first and was impressed by its comfort. The Arrow is the same nominal size, but is a bit tighter across the ears. Looking at the specifications, the Vector shell is described as "oval", whereas the Arrow (and the Thunder, which I guess is its replacement as a track-focused helmet) is "long oval", which probably explains the difference.
Based on previous helmets I've had, or tried on, my head seems to be more of an HJC or Arai shape than a Shoei or Shark one, if that makes sense. Anyway, something to consider when deciding on what size to order.
