    Phone Mount

My old phone mount that left my Harley, doesn't want to fit my new Z900. I don't like the Quadlocks, I like the simple slide in style phone mounts. It seems that Z900 requires a phone mount with a right axis extension (like quadlock does). Any ideas, with links and photos please?

Not sure why you donít like it but Iíve used the Quadlock system for the past 5 years and itís been great. Theyíre so much more secure than any slide in friction holding system. Iíve seen too many phones fall out of ram mount X systems and the cheap ĒclawĒ style phone holders to ever trust them.

If itís the slightly bulky phone case and/or twist to lock system you donít like then another option is the peak design system. It uses a proprietary case too but itís slimmer and just clicks in place.

Anyway, hope you find the system that works for you.

Thanks, the reason I don't like those is due the the need of specific case and people change phones all the time and also they are overpriced.

I finally fastened my old 10eu mount on the rubber cover of the left mirror. Not perfect or secure fit but will live for now

    Oh you want expensive?!
Check out Rokform. Compared to Rokform the Quadlock range looks like a bargain and even PeakDesign starts looking reasonably priced 😂

+1 for Tackform.  Had it on the bike for two years, and even above legal speed limits it held my phone with no issues.

Genuinely believe Quadlock is the best designed option for phones. So easy to get the phone on and off. Super secure. Decently affordable, small price to pay to save a ~$1,000+ phone.

im using this on my versys but a friend of mine is using this on his Z900.

its really solidly built n has quite some heft to it.

my friend even had his massive iphone 13 pro or something in it the whole time on a full day, 150km/h average, 800km ride mid january n it worked fine.

although perhaps should look into this one..more expensive but has the anti vibration thingy. no idea of the quality but from pix looks quite well built.

You get all u need just for 10 eur, for 3 phones.  All you will need if you will change the phone, is to buy a new plastic cover (again) from Ali.  e.g.  i just got this  for 2.32 eur  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004124961389.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.11.668e1802hAOPZf       and attach that patch.

all works like a charm.  budget 13 eur.     fkn bargain
