Hi everyone. I’m confused. I just changed my oil and I dumped the whole 4L bottle but it’s still not between the two lines when I look on the glass level thingy. What could be the reason???

Are you checking the level with the bike standing straight? Leaning a little either way makes a noticeable difference in the sight glass.

Yeah I didn’t know it being a little off would make such a difference. I placed a level and held it up. It showed up in the middle of the two lines. Thanks for the reply @zaniac948

You're welcome  :002: Thanks for the level idea. How did you place it on the bike to get a reading? I usually leave the side stand down and then balance my Z as carefully as possible while watching the sight glass. My kind hearted wife will "eyeball" the bike and give a little to the right, a little to the left directions  :001:

You should definitely see it on the sight glass.    If I didn't I'd be adding oil until I did past the halfway mark.     And yes.... just make sure the bike is upright and level.    I put mine on the rear stand when I'm done riding so that handles that but you can leave the kickstand down and work your way to the other side of the bike and tilt it up while looking at the sight glass.
