    If you look on YouTube, many flash videos show the before and after fuel ratio.

    Very few of the bikes are lean, everywhere.  Many have rich spots throughout the power band.  Once they started adding cats to the exhaust, it let them get by with murder, and stupid us for thinking emissions meant less fuel burned .

    That's what bothers me.  Even if we buy into motorcycles causing environmental damage, you would hope these emissions controls let the bike burn less fuel.  They don't.

    Yeah, no matter how space age the tech, an engine requires a certain air/fuel ratio parameter whether through a carb or injector. Probably the computer control will be more precise but with all the inherent variables it simply can't be perfect. I'll take it everytime over carbs  :152:
    I've never felt the need for rider aids on a machine as smooth as our Z9s but I wonder how well we'd do on an H2 without them?  Has anyone switched everything off on a 200+ hp machine?
