What’s the best way to drain/flush the gas tank? Simply dumping out the gas and a sloshing around some fresh gas and dump again?
Background: I pumped some gas out of the fuel tank so I could remove it to pull the ECU and install block off plates. I realized after the fact that the fill inlet is very sharp and it was scraping fine strips of rubber from the hose - I can see the red bits here and there stuck to the inside of the tank. They’re too big to make it past the filter, but I have the tank off, so might as well do it right.
