Any news or rumors on the 2024 Z900?

I'm either going to drop some change on my 2020 Z900 (That I absolutely love in every way), or hold off and get the next updated version of the bike.  I'm not talking about the usual "color and decal" updates, but more like:
      New/updated instrument cluster
More riding modes or Traction Control flexibility
More horsepower or displacement (maybe liter bike :)
      Suspension improvement (like current SE)
Bells and whistles - quick shifter etc...

The current SE model with 1 liter engine would be killer.  :164:

I doubt Kawasaki is going to change the displacement of the z900 from 948cc any time soon, or make any major modifications to the platform.  The current engine configuration is pretty good, and they've already dropped a significant amount of time and money in the zx-4rr recently.

I agree with some of your wish/list, and would personally like to see:

      IMU
      Quick Shifter
      Cruise Control

The Z900/Z900RS should probably run unchaged for a few more years aside from "Bold New Graphics" and some of the aforementioned electronic updates.

It's well due an update, falling well behind the competition...
May be a few hundred cheaper than some, but most bought on PCP deals so difference isn't noticed.

If they added electronic cruise, I’d trade my 2022 without a second thought.

I’m considering a 1000sx or an MT-09 just for the cruise already.

1000sx ridiculously heavy, mt09 nice ride built build quality poor.
I will buy a street triple next, or wait to see new cb1000r in November.
Love z900, but it's behind on everything now.
Just waiting for my ECU back from flashing 👍

Oh man I hope that it will have a quick shifter.
I almost went with the MT-09 just for the quick shifter. It was so much fun to accelerate that it still gives me goosebumps.

If you're factoring in build quality you might want to think twice about a triumph...
    Just a headsup!
Although the new speed triple 1200 does look rather tasty.

YES its getting cruise control, quickshifter  and a reverse gear , but what it really needs is  a headlight that lights up the road in front not 200m  up in the sky

Tried out all the recent Triumph Tripe-alls  they are great handling but engines are boring as Hondas , and all my mates with them report  lots reliability problems and bad dealers , seems Triumph dont care   , the MT09  is poor finish   and engine is horrible  I will stick with Z900 might swop it for Z900RS for better headlight , the Kwak engine is lovely , and my old Ducatis   might consider new Guzzi V1000 Mandelo as a touring bike ,,

Don't forget the new cb1000r launch November.
That should have everything you want with 150hp.
I love my z900, but it's just a bit underpowered...
Hoping my ECU flash on Wednesday will liven her up!🤷

So put a cruise control on it, probably a shed load cheaper than getting another bike.
