Akrapovic full system without ECU Remap

Hello All,

As I am still awaiting for my Akrapovic headers ( and a slip on ), Just wanted to know if any one else is running it without a tune.

I have ordered E-K9R2, Akrapovic says at ECU remamp section a NO, so no retuning required.

Looking at their performance graph, it's just patch 2000 rpm to around 2600 rpm there is little dip, rest all is fine.

Any suggestions ?

I would go ecu tune route anyways. Akropovic do this for purpose, to sell more.
You let the bike exhaust free flow + if you put sport air filter, dont you think there a lot changes?

you are right, but in my region there are no people doing any tuning, best I can do is to get a fuel controller.

Although I noticed that Akrapovic has almost suggested to do a ECU in other headers and few like these are a exception. Even for 2020 Z900 it's suggest.

You can always send your ecu to mooremafia, your set up is pretty common, they will adjust it as they have all the data.

From India to USA and back?  What could go wrong and/or in what timeline?

Another thing....  Is Z900 in India the same bike as in USA? Is ECU flash the same? If i recall correctly, Mooremafia said (don't remember what bike was about, maybe even Z900) that they will flash only ECU for  USA model.

Don't know for 2017-2019 Models, but, 2020-2023 are different, at least between North America and EU (Euro 4 vs Euro 5 regulations, different exhausts, different fuel maps etc)

I personally went with 2 Wheel Dyno Works after 3 attempts to contact Moore Mafia failed- Screw them, they couldn't answer me so don't deserve the business...
ALOT of Zs have been done by 2WDW guys with great results, worth it.
