I wonder whether radial brakes are really worth all the fuss for the street.  Google Ari Henning on this.  His point is that for track riding there is the benefit of better feel,  but for the street the demands are much less.  Probably radial calipers provide more benefit than the master cylinder.  I am not saying that radial aren't better,  but they probably are hyped a bit.

have you ridden a sport bike with radial brakes?
for me its the best for the bike, the amount of effort you put on the lever, to stop the bike is a little and efficiency is amazing. i would deffo do  the same mode if i can

Not trying to start something.   I was raising the point that the main benefit is feel, not braking power.  Hydraulic brakes translate lever force to rotor clamping force.  The actual amount of friction developed at the rotor/pad interface is the result of pad force on the rotor and lining / rotor material, temperature and surface conditions. A radial master really has no more mechanical advantage,  but arguably a tiny bit less flex.  Hence possible better feel.  Radial calipers are inherently more rigid so probably more benefit there.  I am not looking to start a brake war, just looking to provide some perspective on a mod that is pretty pricey for the z900.

I’d take radial brakes over axial if I had a choice but the benefits on the street are negligible, if that.
All old (80's) race bikes were axial brakes and those guys didn’t seem to have a problem with them.
