    Thanks for all the replies. Ya the pin touches the lever when fully set to farthest setting. I think I will have to cut it a little. Any tips on how should I trim it, don't want it to snap.

    Small fine File for metal with very little pressure? Or Nail File? Pin is soft, it should not take forever and you can check your progress so you don't overdo it.

     Why modify the switch and potentially f@ck it up?  :087:
     It's the lever that isn't fit for purpose. Can't you send it back for replacement or refund?
     I had a cheapo Chinese lever and replaced it with a higher quality ABM item. Neither had any clutch switch issues.

    Don't shorten it!  The lever must push the pin in to allow starter when in gear.
