Never had a reason not to.

OEM Crush Washer is around 2 euros in Croatia per piece. Few Years ago, I found pack of 5 for 3 Euros (not available anymore for at least a Year if not more). Bought 5 packs for 15 Euros (25 Washers total). They were OEM Washers (as labeled on the Product, same part number as OEM) but not labeled as OEM on web site i bought them from.
20.000km per Year (4 Oil and filter changes)

I always use new Crush Washer and torque to spec (29Nm).

I agree, I've never bought a new washer for the drain plug ever for my bikes or cars. That washer is not really a "crush" washer anyway. A true crush washer is a one-use deal, like the exhaust gaskets which actually crush when tightened.

Not actually a crush washer in the true sense.
I have re-used after lapping flat on an oil stone. Didn't leak.  :038:

    I don't replace it- 3 bikes.
My ZRX has 69K, Wife's Ninja at 42K + Z with 7200 all original washers still on them, not leaking.
    Run it.  :028:

Theoretically the aluminum washer is in its annealed state when new, so it is soft.  When you tighten it the metal yields compressively and conforms to the irregularities of the sump and drain screw.  After this the washer is harder due to work hardening and cannot conform as easily. So it is best to use a new one next time.  That said I have reused aluminum crush washers and never had one leak.

I’ve used aluminum crush washers until they were as thin as aluminum foil. Not a great idea but I always use a torque wrench set at 14 lb/ft. Never a leak but I’ll admit that it feels good to put a fresh one on every few years.

I usually reuse the washer.  The 2-3 times I've bought them is if I'm placing an online order and am like a few bucks away from free shipping.
