1 simply because it’s a bargain for the upgrades you get from the factory, at least in the US.  I could easily get rid of that tiny bit of green and be all blacked out if I want, however, I kinda like the green.

Ohlin suspensions are great but the forks cannot be serviced by you. It has to be serviced by Ohlins or by a Ohlins-authorized service center. To me, that took a way quite a bit of joy from the ownership.
That was why I sold my Fireblade SP.

Why can you not service it yourself? Special tools?

They will void the warranty and not service the product anymore.
Besides, they do not publish any manuals for servicing their forks.

So they pull a "Tesla" on you. You pay a lot of money, then they own you.
I never really considered Öhlins suspension mainly for the high cost because also I don’t race and I’m also not worthy enough. But the fact I couldn’t even do a basic fluid and seal service myself puts me off even further.

    That’s why I’m a DMS customer.

I just checked the Kawa website and looks like even though the fork is gold in color, it may not be Ohlins. Only the rear shocks are explicitly advertised as Ohlins. So, we may not have this issue with this model.
I am, now, interested in this SE myself.

Looked around and there is hardly any inventory for the SE's here in the West Coast.
