Fitted new tyres - Battlax T32s

After 9000 kms the stock Roadsport 2's were toast so I shopped for new tyres.  Kept coming back to Bridgestone Battlax T32's.  Those are what I bought.
Another poster asked "Why the hate for stock tyres (OEM)?  I did not hate the stock tyres because I did not have anything to compare to.  Now that I have the T32's I can say from experience "Don't hate your stock tires; use them up, then go to one of the usual higher spec replacements."  I am very happy with the Bridgestones, probably Michelins, Dunlops, Metzler, and Conti offerings are similarly good.

When your original tyres are used up, don't put off replacement - you will be very pleased with better rubber.  BTW I got T32's, not T32 GTs - they are for heavier bikes

I hated the stock tires because they slipped for no reason at all. I changed them at 1500 miles and they still looked new.
In good conscience I wouldn’t sell them or even give them away for free. I threw them out.

That's a good reason to hate tires.  Were they Roadsport 2's?

They were the Dunflop D214. Barely a man on here didn’t complain about them. And a few tests of the Z900 showed the testers slipping on them.

They weren’t even real Dunflops. They were made by another company licensed by Dunflop and they wore  the Dunflop name.
This isn’t the only time I had crappy Dunflops. I had them on another bike and they felt awful so I rode longer with them but swapped them for Bridgestone BT-023's, which were a great improvement. I will never by Dunflops.
I also enjoy that my iPad auto spell says Dunflop as soon as I start typing it.
And I have two words for Dunflop if they’re reading this… You s*ck!

Lol, I used to call them dunflops also when my wife had them on her car.  Really bad in the wet.  By all accounts the D214s are awful.
