why Z900 2024 is Red , and why Australia only gets 1 colour option ?

i have 2021 Z1000 , looking at getting 2024 Z900 , went to bike shop here in Aust , 1stly shock its red and black . gone is kawasaki green  , then to be told thats the only colour option coming to Aust . what the hell is going on ? anyone have any ideas ... i wanted the version with the black rims ... as i cant stand these new coloured rims , ok if some people like coloured rims thats fine , but for us that dont , give us an option ..i asked can i buy one with black rims ....No . whats going on people

I had my money saved to go to the dealer for a new z900. I couldn’t decide between the green or red. The only one I didn’t like was that crazy plasma blue one. Yuck!!! Then I saw a 2020 z900 with 1400 miles on it. Well taken care of. I talked the guy into $6800. This is mine now.

Just get the red bike. I grew to love the blue, because I enjoyed riding the Z so much. I have blue boots, blue gloves. Hahahaha I don’t even like blue!

I have the 2020 in Plasma Blue. I love it and so do most people who I talk to.  I despise black vehicles lol.

I grew to love it! I get a ton of compliments. Everyone says they never saw that color combo before. I never buy flashy stuff. I want to, I just never do it. I need a new helmet, and I want to buy something with color, but I keep looking at the carbon fiber ones. Hmm…

Red and black is a tribute/reference to the 1980s GPZ900R colour scheme. Green was actually more of a Ninja and dirtbike colour through the 1990s and noughties, whilst blue and red schemes were associated with the streetbike range (GPZ, GPX, and ZZR).

I don't think the green really hit the streetbikes until the retro trend kicked in with the ZRX.

When I was looking for my Z900 a month ago I thought I wanted the kawi green, but after seeing it in person the green is not the bright vibrant kawi green I know and love, it's like a muted candy green.

Then I found this beauty someone traded in at an Indian dealership. 2021 with 12k miles. They wanted it gone so I got them down from 7k plus tax and license to 5k out the door with an updated registration. I have come to really love this color.
