I finally got out to scrub these in today.  Started off with the roads slimy and loads of dead leaves about.  Great fun on brand new tyres.
It dried out later and they were absolutely brilliant.  Utterly stable in a straight line and just beautifully progressive leaning over.
There were a few corners with damp patches on them but the tyres never moved.
    The Z is now perfect.

Impressive rear tyre. On the road I use 36 psi and holds well and the wear is good. On a track day I drop it to 34 psi and it still give lots of grip for a sport touring tyre. At the extreme edges is where the compound is softest

Apologies, the rear tyre pressure used on track was 32 psi and not 34 psi

I had the S21 on my GSX-S 750 and they were great in all conditions. I hear the S22 are even better.  Previously i had Diablo Rosso (Pirelli) on my Ducati Monster and still much prefer the S21.

I have a brand new Z900 and waiting for the snow to disappear to try the bike with the stock Dunlops. I never heard so much negative comments on stock tires for a naked bike. I may have to change them if everything i read is true...

    Oh it's true.
If you only ever ride gently in warm, dry conditions then you’re fine. Otherwise get new tyres.
