nice! that's a good bit of info right there ras. having the blank mirror mounts really is an eye sore. now just to find one for the brake side.

just wanted to clarify  (if needed ) that the  clutch side back mount fits the brake side too..... I got mine for $10 off of Ebay

i think the levers are probably my favorite change on this bike so far. They dont make any change in pull but i do find you can modulate the clutch better with them.

    ZRider, two more questions!
1 - what kind of levers are they?
2 - how did you go about painting the plastic silver body panels

Your bike is looking very nice!

the levers I got off ebay for $23. some people sell the same levers for $150+. Ive bought levers from the same place for several different bikes and though I was very skeptical at first I can assure you they are not junk. the seller is motor-pro. as far as painting I cleaned with acetone then scuffed the parts with a scrotch brite pad. cleaned again with acetone wiped with tac clothe then sprayed several very light coats of krylon dual superbond. thorough cleaning and light even coats are key.

Installed a Scorpion Serket Carbon slip-on.

Not any louder but 3kg lighter and 3x better looking than stock ;)

Next on the agenda is to fit some shortie levers when they arrive on a slow boat from China. And in the interim to find some mirrors to replace the insectoid antenna that Kawa put on the bike.

Oh and to keep saving for a decat and tune so the bike can be heard by distracted commuters.

that looks real good I really like that pipe :152: I'm not really a carbon fiber fan but it really suites this bike. I think mines gonna get some more in the near future.

That Scorpian exhaust looks great.  Does it clear your foot?  The stock muffler guard really gets in the way for me.

Looks great stuartho! Def a high quality looking muffler. Are you gonna leave the sticker or remove it? I imagine that can would sound killer with a set of some aftermarket headers in front of it.

Cheers Zrider. I’m kind of the same with carbon fibre, it’s not generally something I go for but reckon it works on the Z9. I’m even wondering what the silver frame covers would look like if they could be dipped to get a carbon fibre look.
