It could be for sale soon, itís too loud for me. Iím going to give it a couple of rides first to see if I can get used to it. If I do keep it il make a better hanger for it.
Won't that thing fill up with rain? I hope there's a weep hole.

And what are your thoughts and experiences with the Continental ContiRoadattack 3 tyreís
I have the RA3 and couldn't be happier with the grip, wear and feedback. Conti is now making RA4.
When my RA3 wear out I'd be nervous moving to the RA4 so happy I am with the 3's.

     :027: Never thought of that
I donít ride in the rain but thereís always the possibility of being caught out in it I know.
I have put the stock exhaust back on now anyway, it sounded awesome but was too loud for my liking. I didnít think it would be so loud with the cat still in place but it sounded like a straight through pipe

The cat doesnít really do much for sound dampening, itís all done by the breadbox. Once you remove that, volume is dictated by the size of the slip on.

Well, lessons learned. Iím glad I didnít spend a fortune on the genuine pipe to learn my lesson.
Iím going to save my pennies for the sc project S1.

Thatíll still be quite loud. Thereís a few videos on youtube of a Z900 with an S1 coupled either with link pipe or headers.

I've seen tests in magazines. Surprisingly, the cat doesn't do much in the way of impeding exhaust flow. In other words, taking it out won't have much of an effect of improving horsepower.

Changed fork oil (only in left fork) after 40.000km ("dump & run" method). Oil was black and silver (original oil).

Procedure is as in this Video:

Exactly 400ml came out, so i put 400ml in. I used Motorex Racing fork oil 4W (16 cSt viscosity), very similar to original oil (15,3 cSt viscosity).

    Torque specs:

    brake calipers 25Nm
    ABS sensor 6.9Nm
    wheel shaft 108Nm
    pinch bolt 20Nm

    Front Fork Top Plugs 22.5Nm
Upper Front Fork Clamp Bolts 20Nm
Lower Front Fork Clamp Bolts 20.5Nm
